We are pleased to announce that TriSep Corporation has been acquired by MICRODYN-NADIR, the water filtration unit of MANN+HUMMEL. There is great synergy between our companies, and by combining, we will be stronger – and a better membrane supplier.
MICRODYN-NADIR has been applying its products in various industrial and municipal applications for 50 years. They produce industry-leading microfiltration and ultrafiltration membranes and modules, such as the BIO-CEL® MBR module. Combined with TriSep’s reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membranes, plus specialty products such as TurboClean® sanitary spiral elements, MICRODYN-NADIR will be a one-stop shop with the widest range of membrane filtration products.
“This is a strategic purchase to increase MICRODYN-NADIR’s capability to service the water treatment market and process separations, not only across North America, but around the world,” said Walter Lamparter, CEO of MICRODYN-NADIR. “Pooling our expertise with the strengths of TriSep will be easy, because we have been working well with each other for almost 20 years. It’s a tried, tested and true partnership that will enable us to accelerate our growth in the water filtration business.”
TriSep will continue operating under the leadership of Peter Knappe, TriSep’s President, as Managing Director of TriSep, reporting to Mr. Lamparter. We believe that our customers will benefit from having more membrane options to meet their diverse application needs as well as one membrane supplier to meet all of their requirements.
